My point was that a full stack is a massive undertaking, not just FE and BE. There's a laundry list in the post. But add cloud and database to that too at a minimum. Keeping up with all that is damn near impossible, so we naturally move towards specialisation. However even as we do that, the curious engineer will keep their eye out and learn what is helpful or interesting and that's the kind of person you want working alongside you.
