I'm happy to disagree but calling this deceptive and BS is a bit much.

I'm not saying a developer can only have 1 skill at all, that would be pretty naive. I'm saying full stack has grown beyond the old DB, BE and FE. The demands to be highly skilled accross the board is too much. You're better off looking for curious engineers who always want to grow, than hiring someone who claims they know it all.
