Absolutely someone can be highly skilled at FE and BE but the key is that the growing expectations of what is required to work across the full stack has changed. That's where it becomes impossible. That's where the value of curiosity is invaluable. If the expectations are too high then the curious engineer will find a way to learn what the need to know
