Absolutely, every started with at a new company and upon seeing the code wondered what the hell happened here?

I did a sample application for an interview once, my API was mint, my frontend was a mess. I was a lead across a whole load of applications at the time. I just hadn't stayed up to date on the FE....still got hired though. Seems like some people can look past the raw output 😂
